Pamphill First School!

Emily Ridgway – The Art Bee
In the Art Bee, there is no right or wrong so we remove the pressure to be perfect. Children will explore colour, texture and pattern while learning to experiment with pencil, pen, paint, pastel and mixed media.
Our goal is for children to enjoy being hands on with art and to be confident expressing themselves through art, broadening their creative thinking…
…while having fun!
What
The Art Bee Club is our very popular sell out after school art club. We are blessed to already operate in 4 local schools and the feedback we are so grateful to receive keeps us driven to ignite the creativity we all have within us!
The trial at Pamphill First School is a great opportunity for your young Art Bee’s to get a taster for this creativity packed and enjoyable art club. We will work with the school to gauge numbers to see if the club could become a more permanent fixture in the future – and we Love Pamphill School and can’t wait to meet and work with all the budding young ‘Art Bees’!
Where
The club will run in the hall straight after school. The office and teachers will know which children have signed up and they will come straight from class. (you can register for your place on the link further down below)
– No special clothing is required.
– Snacks are welcome. (but they must be in line with the schools healthy eating policy and be nut & sesame free)
Afterwards, collection will be at 4:15pm by the gate.
When
The trial will be held on [most] Fridays through the Summer 2 half term, 2022.
We have not yet confirmed that if the club went ahead on a permanent basis whether it would continue on a Friday or not. We are still looking at all options. Let us know your preference though… we would love to hear your thoughts.
There will be 4 club sessions in the Summer 2 half term trial:
(the term starting after the Queen’s Jubilee weekend)

June 10th, 17th, 24th,
July 8th.
😕 Apologies, as I am unable to run a club on 1st June & 15th June due to prior commitments.
It will therefore be 4 sessions which will be £24 in total.
Who
This trial is open to ALL year groups.
Usually we take years 1-4 but for this Pamphill Trial we are happy to welcome current Reception Art Bees too, as they will be in their final term and hopefully the ones who can’t wait to return in Y1, if we do🙏. (It won’t be open to reception if we do run the club permanently following this trial)

How
- Complete the Registration From linked below.
You will see confirmation on screen after submitting the form. - We will [auto] email straight away to confirm that we got the registration.
- Sit back and relax while we update the system.
- We will email you confirmation of your place along with payment details.
- If the club is full we will add you to the reserve list.
We do have a limit on places – so fill in your registration now!
We have already reached the minimum number of registrations we needed to run the trial – so it will go ahead as outline above 🎉

Each current club is taught by both myself (Emily) and Emma. Though for this trial it may be just me.
We are both qualified teachers with many years experience in Primary education and we are fully insured, DBS Enhanced checked, safeguarding and first aid trained.
